The radiator is essential for the cooling of combustion engines. In such engines, there may be as many as 4,000 petrol explosions per minute, each generating temperatures of up to 1,500°C. The circulating coolant receives the combustion heat. Flowing through the radiator, it exchanges the heat with atmospheric air.
