Behr
Behr is a German autoparts corporation, owned by parent company Mahle. Headquartered in Stuttgart-Feuerbach, Behr manufactures and distributes a vast range of car parts around the world. Behr is particularly well known for its specialist engine cooling and air conditioning systems. The company designs a large proportion of its supplies and original equipment for commercial carrier vehicles and trucks.

1915: received a patent for its standard element radiators.
1924: launched the first heavy-duty cooling aggregate for diesel vehicles.
1942: partnered with Süddeutsche Kühlerfabrik (S.K.F.).
1949: started manufacturing heaters for cars.
1965: began manufacturing air-conditioning systems for passenger cars.
1969: launched subsidiaries in America and France.
1990: rebranded as Behr GmbH & Co.
1993: merged its US operations with the US truck cooler manufacturer McCord.
1999: entered two ventures in partnership with Hella.
