Based in Hereford, LuK is a forward-thinking automotive manufacturer, best-known for its future-proofed clutch-repair tools and parts. LuK also manufactures repair hydraulic components for clutch systems and power-steering pumps, making for a diverse portfolio of automotive technologies and parts. LuK is part of the Schaeffler Group, which also comprises the automotive part brands INA, FAG and Ruville.

1965: launched the diaphragm spring clutch in Europe.
1976: established LuK Autoteile in Germany, which today exists as Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket.
1985: released the LuK dual mass flywheel, which set a new standard in insulating drive train noise.
2003: formed part of the Schaeffler Group.
2008: began manufacturing the dry double clutch for Volkswagen.
